Tried to install X8 again but getting existing X8 installed instead of fresh start. To resolve it there was a hotfix patch for it. It turned out that a lot of user had the same issue. So I went to Corel website to file a report. I even tried 32bit version and same thing. Tried installing it but will not install because it detected that there was X8 installed when in fact I deleted everything. So I deleted everything in CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X8. I was getting error message that setup stopped working. So I tried uninstalling it but would not uninstall. I tried repairing it but still getting the problem. Microsoft update corrupted the visual C for Corel that's used for Macros. Reboot, make sure a all windows updates are up to date. After you get everything removed do a search for Corel on the entire C: drive. If you have any dongles unplugg from PC before starting. Look further down and uninstall any Visual C redistribables or Visual studio redistribables. If you have office even uninstall the visual studio for office.

Microsoft visual Studio There may be many. Uninstall Corel make sure all you files are backed up and choose remove all user files, the Corel shell extension, all Microsoft Visual C installs.
